Encerrou-se neste sábado a passagem de Fernando Prass como goleiro do Palmeiras. Aos 41 anos de idade, ele foi comunicado de que o clube não irá renovar seu contrato, que se encerra no dia 31 de dezembro. O encontro ocorreu na sexta-feira, e o clube não fez nenhuma oferta para tentar mantê-lo.

-Não foi da maneira como planejei, mas hoje se encerra meu ciclo no Palmeiras. Obrigado Palmeiras e a torcida pelo carinho! – escreveu Prass em suas redes sociais.

A saída de Prass começou a ganhar forma no ano passado. Após o título brasileiro, o clube entendeu que tanto ele quanto Jailson são semelhantes em nível técnico e renovou com a dupla. Os dois novos vínculos foram anunciados por uma temporada, mas o de Jailson era mais longo, de dois anos.

A avaliação interna, portanto, era de que em 2019 o Palmeiras manteria os dois como reservas de Weverton, mas em 2020 um sairia para subir jovens – Vinicius Silvestre, emprestado ao CRB, voltará. Jailson, três anos mais novo que Prass, foi o escolhido para permanecer.​

Já havia no fim de 2018 o risco pela saída do camisa 1 diante de diferenças com o então diretor de futebol Alexandre Mattos. Luiz Felipe Scolari, porém, pediu a renovação e foi referendado pelo presidente Maurício Galiotte, que se reuniu na época com Prass para renovar o contrato por outro ano.

Apesar da saída do comandante do futebol, o Palmeiras preferiu manter o planejamento traçado ainda em 2018, deixando o ídolo buscar um novo clube, enquanto Weverton, Jailson e Vinicius Silvestre trabalharão com garotos da base na temporada que vem.

Em busca de novos diretor de futebol e treinador, o Palmeiras passa por uma reformulação – Edu Dracena, outro que tinha contrato até o fim do ano, decidiu se aposentar. Prass, por sua vez, ainda quer continuar jogando e tinha o sonho de permanecer no Verdão.

Contratado no fim de 2012, o camisa 1 disputou 274 partidas pelo Verdão, conquistou quatro títulos – a Série B de 2013, a Copa do Brasil de 2015, e os Brasileiros de 2016 e 2018. Na Copa do Brasil, ficou marcado na história por ter converter o pênalti que garantiu a vitória sobre o Santos.

Prass saiu do Vasco para chegar ao Palmeiras recém-rebaixado e encerrou a instabilidade que o clube teve na posição durante 2012, o primeiro ano após a aposentadoria de Marcos. Sofreu duas lesões sérias no cotovelo, mas voltou a tempo tanto de ajudar a evitar uma nova queda em 2014, quanto para participar da festa do Brasileirão de 2016.

Foi reserva nos últimos dois anos, mas ainda assim teve momentos marcantes, como na Libertadores deste ano, em que pegou o 15º pênalti com a camisa alviverde, contra o Junior Barranquilla (COL). Ele deixa o Palmeiras como o oitavo goleiro com mais partidas e o segundo no século, atrás só de Marcos.

O desafio do Goytacaz na Série B1 do Carioca não se restringe a almejar uma das vagas para a fase final da Taça Corcovado (Segundo Turno). Em paralelo à luta da equipe no Grupo A, elenco e comissão técnica são assolados por um drama: os frequentes atrasos salariais.

– O que a gente está reivindicando são três meses sem receber. Já estamos partindo para o quarto. A diretoria tem se mobilizado para resolver algumas coisas, e chegou a quitar uma parte antes do jogo com o Tigres. Mas ainda há muito a resolver – detalhou o goleiro Adilson, ao LANCE!.

Os problemas financeiros, que já eram nítidos desde o começo da disputa da Série B1, afetaram o planejamento do Goyta para o decorrer da competição:

– Sete jogadores foram embora durante a Série B1.À medida que foram atrasando os salários, os atletas deixavam o clube. Foi muito difícil, mas conseguimos manter o padrão. – recordou o técnico João Carlos Ângelo, que, assim como os demais integrantes da comissão técnica, também tem a receber do clube.

Sete jogadores foram embora durante a Série B1. Técnico não esconde: ‘Tenho de agir como psicólogo’

O comandante confessou que o ambiente no qual o clube se encontra tem se tornado desafiador:

– É complicado. Eu, como técnico, passei a ter de agir como um psicólogo. Tem de fazer os atletas amenizarem os problemas que já vivem com seus familiares e ressaltar que deixar o clube não é a melhor atitude – destacou o treinador, que contou estar com problemas particulares devido à crise financeira.

O goleiro Adilson revelou como os atrasos salariais causaram dores de cabeça ao elenco:

– Pagamentos de moradias estão atrasados. Não chegamos a receber ordem de despejo, mas tivemos cobranças de proprietários dos imóveis. Os aluguéis vêm sendo resolvidos pelo clube – e ressalta o apoio da direção:

– Seria antiético dizer que a diretoria não está lutando. Eles têm se mobilizado bastante.

AÇÃO DE MARKETING PARA AJUDAR O GOYTACAZ

Mandatário do Goyta, Dartagnan Fernandes destacou que o clube conta com apoios como a fornecedora Giggs (do conselheiro Gildo Gomes). Além disto, foi promovida nas redes sociais do clube a ação de marketing “Entre Em Campo Com o Goytacaz”, na qual torcedores podem colaborar com valores de R$ 50, R$ 500 e R$ 750. Dependendo do valor, o torcedor pode até ter seu nome estampado em locais estratégicos das camisas usadas pelos atletas em partidas da Série B1.

– Já temos reservadas as cotas até o número 22. A torcida se mobilizou, a campanha segue e está nos ajudando financeiramente neste momento – disse.

Fernandes detalhou o que fez o Goyta culminar nos problemas financeiros:

– Nós herdamos dívidas da gestão anterior. Além disto, há penhoras de ações do passado. Estamos batalhando.

Técnico da equipe, João Carlos Ângelo lamenta a falta de incentivo:

– O Goytacaz é um clube representativo, tradicional no futebol do Rio de Janeiro. Não entendo como não recebe incentivo da Prefeitura, como acontece com outros times que disputam o Estadual.

OS DESAFIOS NO GRAMADO

A vitória por 3 a 1 do Goytacaz sobre o Tigres do Brasil não foi significativa apenas por deixar a equipe com 14 pontos (um a menos que o America, vice-líder do Grupo A, que tem o Artsul na dianteira, com 20 pontos) e manter aceso sonho de brigar pela volta à elite estadual. O triunfo no Aryzão trouxe alento a uma semana que começou com turbulência.

No início da semana, os jogadores não treinaram, devido aos atrasos salariais;

– Foi uma decisão nossa, devido a todos os problemas. Depois, voltamos nossas atenções para a preparação do jogo de quarta-feira (contra o Tigres do Brasil).

Antes da partida, houve uma reunião com a diretoria sobre o impassesalarial do Goyta.

– Fui conversar com eles, que realmente estavam muito contrariados, com razão. Disse que tínhamos de dar continuidade ao que estamos fazendo em campo, honrar nosso trabalho. Jogar por nós e pela torcida do Goytacaz – disse João Carlos Ângelo.

– Pato ficou quatro, cinco meses sem jogar. Hoje a intensidade é muito grande pra ele atuar pelo lado. The PCB will not renew Pakistan head coach Dav Whatmore’s contract, when it expires ahead of the Asia Cup in late February 2014. The PCB said in a release that Whatmore informed the board earlier this month that he would not be seeking an extension in the job due to personal and family reasons.
