Na parte final do treino desta segunda, Danilo entrou no lugar de Júnior Dutra. Antes, o experiente meia e o atacante Emerson Sheik foram os curingas da atividade, atuando pelos dois times.

Já a equipe reserva teve: Caíque, Mantuan, Yago, Pedro Henrique e Guilherme Romão; Renê Júnior; Lucca, Camacho, Mateus Vital e Clayson; Kazim.

O treino desta segunta-feira foi realizado na Arena Corinthians, que receberá seu primeiro jogo em 2018. O gramado do estádio foi trocado durante as férias, e o Timão estava usando o Pacaembu.

Os desfalques da atividade foram Léo Príncipe e Warian, com dores musculares, além de Vilson e Paulo Roberto, que recuperam-se de lesão. Pedrinho, Maycon, Léo Santos, Moisés, Carlos Augusto e Filipe fizeram um trabalho à parte no outro lado do campo.

O Corinthians volta a treinar na tarde desta terça-feira, no CT Joaquim Grava. O jogo contra o São Bento será realizado na quarta, às 21h45, pela sétima rodada do Paulistão.

Suspended IPL commissioner Lalit Modi has objected to the presence of Chirayu Amin on the BCCI’s three-man disciplinary committee that will probe the charges against him. This isn’t the first time Modi has demanded a change in the panel – he had asked BCCI president Shashank Manohar to recuse himself from the committee, which Manohar duly did.Amin, who was already a member of the disciplinary committee, was appointed the interim chairman of the IPL following Modi’s suspension in April. At a special general body meeting held this past Saturday, the board voted unanimously to refer Modi’s case to the committee.Following the decision, Modi’s lawyers sent a legal notice to the BCCI, claiming that Amin may have a grudge against their client, and should therefore be replaced on the panel. “It was Modi who had disclosed publicly that Amin was an investor who formed a part of the Pune consortium that made an unsuccessful bid for the two franchises this year,” quotes the notice as saying.According to Modi, Amin was part of a consortium led by Pune-based construction company City Corporation that took part in the auction for the two new teams.However, Manohar disputed Modi’s version of events at the time, saying Amin’s intention was to invest in the consortium only in the event of a successful bid, and that it was Modi who had urged the consortium to contact Amin in the first place. Had City Corporation been successful, Amin would have invested through Glycodin, one of his companies.The other two members of the disciplinary committee are politicians Arun Jaitley, also a lawyer and BCCI vice-president, and Jyotiraditya Scindia, president of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, who replaced Manohar.Modi has been charged with financial irregularities relating to the bidding process for IPL franchises, the sale of mid-over ads and the sale of theatrical rights. The Latest: Spurs eye January bid…

As per CT, via Sport Witness, Tottenham and Arsenal are in contention for his signing with Kulusevski himself thought to be open to moving in search of more game time.

Is it is believed that Spurs and their bitter rivals ‘have indicated their intention to sink the blow in January in case the right conditions arise’ – presumably meaning they’re weighing a bid.

Paratici is personally the youngster’s ‘number one fan’ according to this report with Spurs’ transfer chief well and truly eyeing a move.

The Verdict: Get it done?

Lauded as an ‘explosive’ attacker by former Sweden striker Marcus Allback, the pundit also claims that Kulusevski is hard-working and tracks back to defend (The Sun) – surely an endearing quality for Spurs supporters and for Conte.

The only caveat may be his alleged €35 million (£29.6m) asking price with Juventus apparently refusing to budge on that price tag.

Amid Tottenham’s financial troubles as they also aim to sign a centre-half and in-demand striker Dusan Vlahovic, Kulusevski perhaps should be put on Paratici’s back burner.

Wolves making a move for Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli in January would not be a wise decision, according to journalist Luke Hatfield.

The Lowdown: Alli’s career on the slide

There was a time when Alli seemed like the golden boy of English football, but his reputation has diminished in recent years, with the midfielder making very little impact at Tottenham.

Alli has been limited to six Premier League starts and he is struggling to force his way into new manager Antonio Conte’s plans currently, leading to speculation over his next destination, with Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson linking him with a possible move to Wolves.

Indeed, Spurs could look to cut their losses on a player who has been described as ‘fantastic’ by Ian Wright, with the 25-year-old someone who Hatfield has been quizzed about.

The Latest: Hatfield doesn’t want move to happen

Speaking to Give Me Sport, it was clear what his stance on the matter is, with the journalist urging Wolves to stay away from any possible deal:

“For the player, I could understand the move, but not for the club. I couldn’t understand Wolves making a move for Dele Alli, to be honest.”

Alli looked like he would be a world-beater as a youngster, scoring 18 league goals for Spurs back in 2016/17, not to mention netting in the 2018 World Cup quarter-final for England against Sweden.

Sadly, he just hasn’t kicked on, however, and while he is still only 25 years of age, it would be extremely risky for Wolves to sign him.

The fire seems to have gone out with Alli, with his impact on matches so often unnoticeable – he has only scored one league goal since 2019/20 – so he could be more of a hindrance than an effective signing.

Autor do gol do título do Paulistão de 2016, artilheiro do Estadual de 2015 e de gol na final da Copa do Brasil de 2015, ele sempre esteve presente nos momentos decisivos. Agora, na busca pelo título do Brasileirão, não tem sido nada diferente.

O elenco do Vasco desembarcou no Rio de Janeiro na manhã desta quinta-feira após a vitória por 2 a 1 sobre o Avaí, na última quarta, em Florianópolis, pelo Brasileirão. Um dos mais assediados pelos torcedores foi Wagner, autor de um golaço que abriu o placar. O meia celebrou a vitória e disse que ela dá moral ao time para o clássico contra o Botafogo, neste sábado, no Maracanã.

-Sabíamos que seria um jogo difícil, nossa postura foi boa. Nossos 10 dias de treinamentos foram ótimos. Então, foi muito satisfatória essa vitória e agora a gente chega com força total para jogar o clássico – disse Wagner, que espera uma vitória para coroar o reencontro da equipe com a torcida na cidade do Rio de Janeiro.

-É um bolo (jogo com a presença da torcida após punição) e só falta colocar a cereja. Espero que essa cereja seja nossa vitória nesse reencontro com a torcida. Que a gente possa fazer uma bela festa e que saia a vitória, que é o mais importante – completou.

Para o clássico, o Cruz-Maltino tem a possibilidade de contar com o retorno de Luis Fabiano. O atacante está em fase de transição e pode voltar ao time após lesão no joelho direito. Wagner elogiou o artilheiro e disse que a presença dele em campo seria muito importante.

-O Luis Fabiano nem preciso falar. É um jogador de Seleção, de Copa do Mundo, jogador que sabe decidir clássicos… Então, se ele conseguir jogar, a gente espera contar com ele para que dê o seu máximo e possa estar voltando aí para fazer os gols e ajudar o time a vencer.

Antes da partida contra o Avaí, Wagner deu entrevista em São Januário dizendo que os filhos faziam muitas cobranças em casa. Inclusive, quando ele não era titular, perguntaram até se ele jogava mesmo no Vasco. Por isso, o meia dedicou o belo gol para eles, para celebrar o Dia das Crianças.

-Foi legal (risos). Hoje é Dia das Crianças, dedicar para eles aí também. Aniversário do meu pai também, mandar os parabéns. É bacana, a gente brinca muito. Os garotos estão com oito e seis anos, cada dia é uma coisa nova. Aconteceu como uma brincadeira e hoje a gente está conseguindo comemorar. No próximo jogo eles vão estar lá no Maraca para torcer pela nossa vitória – contou Wagner, admitindo que foi o gol mais bonito que fez esse ano.

-Foi o gol mais bonito que eu fiz esse ano, fico muito feliz. Tomara que saia mais. Atuei numa posição nova, foi a primeira vez que joguei ali pela direita e o Zé gosta muito que fala isso. Jogar ali, trazer para dentro e arriscar.
